Just prior to him opening Precision Fitness, Hayden I called Scott and told him I was tired of being a fat guy! Extremely busy putting together his gym Scott told me he would call back in two weeks. Thinking to myself he wouldn't remember I continued-on feeling miserable. I was wrong, however, Scott, indeed, returned my call and we setup an appointment.
Upon departing our first meeting I realized - I liked Scott. His affable disposition & sincere commitment to see me reach my goals already had me buying into his program. One of his first questions to me was "on a scale from one to ten; what is your level of commitment"? Not knowing how I was going to fare in this adventure...well...I answered "seven". After years of sitting behind a desk with career commitments, fatherhood commitments...I found myself lazy, overwhelmed with no spare time and all I knew was that I was tired of being fat. "Seven" is a good start; I thought to myself, if I can reach within myself for that I'd be pretty happy.
As I creep up on 45 lbs lost in 4 months I see that I have moved away from a commitment of seven and have reached an eight maybe even nine. Scott laid out a nutritional guild line for me to follow and I stick to it fairly well and always return after a detour from his plan. You see, I cheat now and then; having eaten pizza, frozen yogurt and maybe even an occasional french-fry with my kids other times enjoying a cold beverage with friends. Yet, I return to the plan and freely admit to Scott without guilt or fear of reprisal that I slipped up, cheated, or whatever you want to call it. He's committed, just as I am, to my success.
I have found that it's not that hard, really, the Precision Fitness Philosophy, it's all momentum. Once you're moving down the scale your body, cravings and mentality change; you look forward to the next piece of chicken, fish or vegetable AND that next workout. Just like everyone else in today's world I, seemingly, need to be in two places at once – all the time. A 15 minute workout fits my hectic schedule and more importantly it works! It amazes me that in just 15 minutes I can be breathing hard with an elevated heart rate, feeling great and for those times - ready for the sore muscles.
Scott and his staff at Precision Fitness Hayden are truly building an aura of fun, excitement and more importantly, committed support and encouragement, all wrapped within a family atmosphere. Ultimately it comes down to results. They are dedicated to seeing clients succeed, for clients to realize their goals and for clients recognize those results in themselves. That has been my ongoing experience. My goal is within sight and as I near this original milestone it will be pushed out further, more than I could have imagined, just as Scott can push me in every workout.

My name is Jerry Carlson and I am 47 years old. I have struggled with my weight since graduating from the University of Idaho in 1985. I became overweight after my career started as an insurance agent. I started to live a sedentary lifestyle. My only physical exertion involved recreational sports which didn't keep me in shape. About three years ago a friend told me about Precision Fitness and what it did for him. I decided to give it a try halfheartedly at first, and I dropped a few pounds. After a life shattering event last February I decided there was nothing to lose. A few weeks later I started to see results. I began working out on my own as well. Strength training combined with proper nutrition advised by my trainer at every appointment led me to lose 100+ pounds and reduce my body fat in half! If you take this program seriously and follow the nutritional advice, you can’t help but lose weight. I have become more balanced physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. What else could I ask for?

Melody

Melody Breidenbach has trained with Scott since the beginning of July of 2009. Her goal was to compete in a few physique contests that were held during body building competitions. She was a client that wasn’t too far behind from where she needed to be to compete at the highest level, but those last 10lbs are the hardest to lose, so it took a lot of time and effort, and it proved that she is one tough girl. She lost 10.25 lbs and lost 12 % body fat. She also gained 5 lbs of Lean mass. Proper exercise, nutrition, and dedication helped Melody take 2nd place at the Snoqualmie Iron Man Competition. She enjoyed this process so much that she is now a trainer here at Precision and wants to help others tackle these day to day obstacles.
